Air Canada completes first JT8D-9A engine overhaul for PAC Aeropace Part 125 customer. PAC Aerospace completed the first of 5 JT8D-9A engine overhauls at the engine overhaul facility of Air Canada at the Dorvel International Airport (Montreal, Canada). These engines are being overhauled and inspected in accordance with AD 98-12-07 and PAC's FAA part 125 JT8D build specification ESV-2, as the main reason for LLP & AD removal off the 727-100 fleet of one of PAC's Part 125 FAA operators.. This engine is the first of a group of JT8D engines to be overhauled under the technical and parts management, and on site technical representation agreement with PAC. PAC specializes in providing quality engine Technical support on and off wing at which ever Part 145 vendor get the contract. Part 33 and Part 43 are maintained during the Technical Representation with parts inventory and MRB management, final records review and test cell performance analysis.  All this while providing tangible engine repair cost savings. PAC and the engine operator/owner have been pleased with the Part 125 PAC Aerospace written JT8D build specifications.
